The peppercorn is the berry of pepper vine; it is the most widely used spice, and is generally freshly ground to spice up dishes with its flavor and aroma.
    Black Peppercorns are harvested when the berry is not yet ripe. The black peppercorn is endowed with a strong essence  and a peppery, hot flavor that is slightly sweet.
